Oh my,...it's been like five months since I wrote on here. I have a feeling that no one checks this anymore - you have probably given up on us! I apologize. Life is so busy here in St. Louis and very exciting indeed. Matthew recieved a deferred vicarage and that means we get the opportunity to stay here and he finishes his classes first -- and then we go out on our vicarage/call. Less moves,.....less stress,........we are very happy. Thank you Lord for granting this awesome opportunity for us!!
We are all doing great. We've been a lot the last couple months for home congregation events and two weddings,..one of which all four of us was in! We are now here in St. Louis for awhile - but are looking forward to returning "home" this summer to see family and friends soon.
Love and hugs!!!!

Thanks for the updates. Kind of figured that Matt received permission to be a terminal/convertible vicar and finish his classroom work first (actually seems to make more sense to me to do it that way which is the way most student teacher programs work but what do I know, I'm just an IT guy) since Pastors Hudak & Cate haven't made any announcements concerning Matt being placed as a vicar and of course there was nothing posted on the best source of all - the Seminary's website.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I'm sure Matt is excited to get year 3 started and finished so he can start his vicarage and begin actually doing what he has been studying. It will happen before you know it. Look how fast the previous 2 years have gone by!
Thanks for maintaining this blog.
